La concejalía de Educación y Cultura del Ayuntamiento de Cehegín, ha convocado la cuarta edición del Concurso de Cuentos "Salvador García Jiménez", con el objetivo de seguir promocionando la literatura escrita en castellano y, a su vez, rendir homenaje al insigne escritor de la tierra. Los interesados en participar en este certamen, dotado con 2.000 euros de premio, podrán presentar sus obras hasta el día 29 de febrero de 2008.
BASES:
1) Podrán concurrir al Concurso de Cuentos "Salvador García Jiménez" todos los escritores que lo deseen.
2) Las obras de tema libre deberán ser inéditas, no solamente en la fecha de su admisión al concurso, sino en el momento de la proclamación del fallo. Cada concursante sólo podrá mandar un original.
3) Dichos originales, con una extensión máxima de diez folios, y mínima de cinco, deberán estar mecanografiados a dos espacios por una sola cara, grapados por su margen izquierdo, y se presentarán por triplicado, en formato DIN A-4.
4) Los cuentos optarán al concurso bajo un lema o seudónimo acompañados de plica o sobre cerrado, en cuyo interior conste nombre, fotocopia del D.N.I, dirección del autor y teléfono.
5) Los envíos se realizarán dentro de un sobre en cuyo exterior se haga constar "Para el Concurso de Cuentos Salvador García Jiménez" e irán remitidos al: Excmo. Ayuntamiento de Cehegín. Concejalía de Cultura. C/López Chicheri, 5. 30430 Cehegín (Murcia).
6) El plazo de admisión quedará abierto en la fecha de publicación de la presente convocatoria y finalizará el 29 de febrero de 2008. Con posterioridad a dicho día sólo serán admitidos a concurso aquellos envíos postales cuyo matasellos evidencie que fueron depositados en el buzón dentro del plazo.
7) La Institución Patrocinadora del Concurso designará la composición del jurado.
8) Premios: premio único: dotación 2000 euros. Éste estará sujeto a la normativa fiscal vigente. El premio no podrá ser declarado desierto.
9) El fallo, que será inapelable, se hará público en el mes de abril y la entrega de éste coincidirá con las actividades realizadas por este Ayuntamiento con motivo del Día del Libro.
10) 9. La entrega de premios se celebrará durante un acto público al que los autores premiados comprometen su asistencia, del cual será informado con la suficiente antelación el autor.
11) El cuento premiado pasará a ser propiedad del Excmo. Ayuntamiento de Cehegín, que podrá editarlo. Los originales de los restantes serán destruidos, no admitiéndose peticiones de devolución.
